The four traditional grapes, Folle Blanche, Ugni Blanc, Baco, and Colombard, go into the base wine for our 25 Years old blend. Bottled exclusively from a dumping of 20 barrels or less, made of the tight-grained, rich in tannins and deeply colored oak.
CYRANO 25 has been drawn from barrels that have aged from 25 to 40 years.
The quality of this blend reflects the balance between the spirit's strength and the aging time in French oak barrels, giving a very fine armagnac with a quite exceptional after taste. Elegant on the nose, it is in the mouth that CYRANO 25 will unveil all of its complexity.
This world class Armagnac is a true reflection of the place and people who make it.
Tasting Notes
Dark Topaz color
Welcomes the senses with leather, oak, hazelnut, chestnut and caramel, and then deepens into an olfactory experience of French vanilla and succulent orange citrus.
On the palate, takes one on a journey of a path lain with crème brûlée, clove, burnt sugar, cacao and Curaçao orange essential oil. Mature orange and vanilla perform together as in an haute cuisine dessert one would enjoy in a French bistro off a cobbled road.
Leather and oak frolic with espresso at day break, while tobacco is reminiscent of leather drying in the desert sun.
The body of CYRANO 25 is excellent, expertly structured and the finish is long, warm and delightful.
