XO

Is our eXtra Old made up of Armagnacs that have been aged for at least 8 years.  XO is perfect for mixing and it will delight those that are looking for a rich and smooth spirit.

We make XO in small batches, patiently aged in the deepest charred barrels and bottled at 84 proof to maintain our approach to big flavor. It's a rather woody blend, with spicy aromas, complex but remains round. This rich Armagnac brings oak and leather together with slightly sweet notes of flower and fruit.

We happen to use the highest quality grapes. It's what gives you that unique spicy, smooth flavor that changes your cocktails forever.

Tasting Notes

Nothing in Gascony is subtle. Not The Three Musketeers, Duck, Rugby, and especially not the XO Armagnac.

Color is dark golden yellow, with warm, hints of fire.

The scents of tobacco smoke, cherry, & leather greet you in a way the sun's early rays lay on the vineyards in Gascony. The scents aren't all masculine though, like taking a walk along the river XO gives you fertile stone fruits of the region like Peaches, Black Figs, Black Cherry, & Apple.

The body is rich and structured with cacao, orange oils, and burnt vanilla. Rustic and refined go together with XO,  like Duck Confit and Pear. Refined in its elegant flavors but rustic in its rural upbringing.
